Known as Independent Domestic Violence Advisers (IDVA), this service provides emotional and practical advice, guidance and support to help you and your family become and remain safe if you are at high risk of serious harm.
Your Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA) will advocate on your behalf with other agencies including jointly planning ways to protect you from harm and representing the voice of the individual at a Multi-agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC).
