Our Community Drop-In gives you the opportunity to talk directly with the Somerset Domestic Abuse Service. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a member of staff who can support and guide you.
The sessions are entirely led by what that person needs, it could be that the individual may just want some phone numbers, but primarily it’s going to be for those who wish to start a conversation

Help and support at our central hub
Help and support for people experiencing domestic abuse is available by phoning our central hub, open 8am to 8pm seven days, on 0800 69 49 999
It is also open for the public to get in person support, every first and third Thursday of the month – 5pm to 8pm.

Free parking is available.
We ask people to phone 0800 6949 999 and select option 2 before you come along to let us know to expect you, and to get directions.

Community drop-ins can help you to access confidential advice without having to use the phone or internet.
The Somerset Domestic Abuse Service offers drop-ins across the county. These are in a range of easy to access locations.
Chard
Chard Library, Holyrood Street, Chard, TA20 2YA – every second Friday of the month, 10am to 1pm.
Frome
Frome Library, Justice Lane, Frome BA11 1BE – every third Thursday of the month, 10am to 1pm.
Wells
The Portway Annexe, Portway Avenue, Wells, BA5 2QF – every fourth Wednesday of the month, 10am to 1pm.
Taunton
Acorns Children’s Centre, 110 Roman Road, Taunton, TA1 2BL – every fourth Tuesday of the month, 10am to 1pm.
Wincanton
Balsam Centre, Balsam Park, Wincanton, BA9 9HB – every first Tuesday of the month, 10am to 12pm.
Bridgwater
Nelson Trust Women’s Centre, 14 King Square, Bridgwater, TA6 3DG – every first Friday of the month, 10am – 1pm.
